The Documentary Film explores the life of John
Harrelson ~ songwriter/ musician / teacher / musicologist ~ from his
earliest days of playing in garage bands in the 60's through his multi-faceted
performing career and near death and back encounter.
More than just a
retrospective of John's life, the team documents John as he reunites
with his former band mates in the studio for the very first time in 45
years, to re-record John's first original song and tackle a new tune
written especially for the film.
Dead Man Rockin' offers a portrait of an uncompromising artist, a true American bluesman, a man who lives his craft and art every day of his life.
